Monday’s Raw was the last episode of the Money in the Bank (MITB), pay-per-view (PPV) on Monday. It was the final opportunity for the red brand to make any changes to the matchcard. The episode was also the last of RAW from ThunderDome. This is because the company will be touring. RAW this week featured the return of Xavier Woods. He claimed his rematch. A lone title match saw Sheamus take on Humberto Carrillo for the U.S. Championship. The company also promoted MITB participants in a Fatal 4-Way Duel. Asuka, Naomi and Alexa Bliss were also advertised. All wanted a little momentum prior to the PPV.
This week’s WWE Raw edition is here.
Bobby Lashley vs Xavier Woods: The ThunderDome’s final show kicked off with action as Lashey held the upper hand and was throwing Woods around in the ring. Woods responded with a kick to his gut and made things even with a senton. Woods won the victory by using an inside cradle and taking turns to pound one another and regain control.
Lashley returned for the show’s closing VIP Lounge feature. The MVP began by praising Bobby Lashley for his many victories at the Thunderdome. He said that Kingston’s trash talk from weeks ago was accurate and appreciated the MVP’s help. He destroyed the VIP Lounge before vowing that he would tear Kingston in half at MITB.
Jinder Mahal regrets bringing his motorcycle to Raw. Mahal rode his bike without realizing that it was past its prime. Drew McIntyre, who destroyed Mahal’s motorcycle, claimed that the sword Mahal stole last Wednesday was a replica and then he ripped the motorcycle.
