Are Mi Air Dots worth buying?

Wireless audio is slowly but surely becoming a reality. If you don’t get on board, your smartphone options over the next few decades will be limited. Although I get that you might not want to venture into the murky waters Bluetooth audio, I offer a $30 entry-level option — the Xiaomi Redmi AirDots.

The Xiaomi Redmi AirDots, although they are quite affordable, take design cues form a few other products on market, but they are still very good value for their (low) price.

The Xiaomi Redmi AirDots would be a great choice for anyone who wants to try Bluetooth earbuds, or if they are a good option for someone on a tight budget.

Design & Hardware

TAKE INFLUENCES ANYWHERE

Xiaomi’s sleek design is something I have to praise. You won’t be able to tell who made the AirDots until you examine the small, plastic case-turned-coffin. The only sign that Xiaomi made these buds is the redmi logo on the lid. It is tastefully embossed.

AirDot bud are actually smaller and lighter than expected. The only problem is the way they feel hollow compared to other wireless headphones I have tried. This is a good thing, but it doesn’t make you feel very confident in the sound quality. I’ll discuss this later.
