James DeGale, 2008 Beijing Olympics champion middleweight boxer, has asked for help after his gold and MBE were taken from his parents.
Briton is also a two time IBF super-middleweight champion and said that the break-in occurred on Sunday during England’s Euro 2020 final loss to Italy.
DeGale uploaded security footage to Instagram showing someone walking along the house and covering it. He also stated that two of his prize possessions had been stolen.
He said, “They are worthless for anyone but me and they’re two achievements that I prize in my boxing career.” “I’m devastated and I need my medals back.”
DeGale, age 35, retired in February 2019 from boxing.
